SV	De tong is ook een vuur, een wereld der ongerechtigheid; alzo is de tong onder onze leden gesteld, welke het gehele lichaam besmet, en ontsteekt het rad [onzer] geboorte, en wordt ontstoken van de hel.

ASV	And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.
BE	And the tongue is a fire; it is the power of evil placed in our bodies, making all the body unclean, putting the wheel of life on fire, and getting its fire from hell.

ELB05	Und die Zunge ist ein Feuer, die Welt der Ungerechtigkeit. Die Zunge ist unter unseren Gliedern gesetzt, als die den ganzen Leib befleckt und den Lauf der Natur anzündet und von der Hölle angezündet wird.
LSG	La langue aussi est un feu; c'est le monde de l'iniquité. La langue est placée parmi nos membres, souillant tout le corps, et enflammant le cours de la vie, étant elle-même enflammée par la géhenne.

Sch	Auch die Zunge ist ein Feuer. Als die Welt der Ungerechtigkeit nimmt die Zunge ihren Platz ein unter unsren Gliedern; sie befleckt den ganzen Leib und steckt den Familienkreis in Brand und wird selbst von der Hölle in Brand gesteckt.
Web	And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire from hell.
Weym	And the tongue is a fire. That world of iniquity, the tongue, is placed within us spotting and soiling our whole nature, and setting the whole round of our lives on fire, being itself set on fire by Gehenna.
